Is Something Wrong?

This is my tribute to the original Stephen Gammell illustrations from the "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" series. This is my recreation of the illustration from "Is Something Wrong?" in "Scary Stories: More Tales to Chill Your Bones" in my own style. I couldn't help adding a bit of color in there.

Exotic: Cabinet of Curiosities - Fiji Mermaid

A wunderkammer style Fiji Mermaid papercraft. I created this by cutting rigid bristol board which I covered with a light watercolor wash, and then I shaded each of the individual pieces using black pastels. I am quite pleased with the outcome!

Classic Halloween Monster Line-Up

I've been trying to keep in the Halloween mood this year by doing a lot of Halloween themed drawings.  It's a bit tough to get into the Halloween spirit when the birds are chirping and flowers are blooming.  People in New Zealand really get into Christmas early as well, which makes it difficult.  I've seen a few houses with their Christmas trees up already.

This is my version of the Halloween classics - the wicked witch, cursed mummy, Frankenstein's Monster, blood-sucking vampire, and howling werewolf.
