It's that month again! My favorite month of the year! When all of the ghosts and ghouls come out to play (at least they used to when I was a kid in the 80s and early 90s anyway).
Even though I'm down here south of the Equator again, and all of the trees are blooming, and the sun is shining, I still have autumn in my heart. It also helps that Dunedin has the creepiest graveyards in the world to get me in the Halloween spirit!
Edit: I know I already submitted this earlier, but the word for this week at Illustration Friday is "Haunt" so I thought this was appropriate.

Love this! The cut-out style is great and the colors are terrific. And it's just a little spooky and a really neat little scene. I see no strange worms burrowing out of the dirt. Get your project done? :D

DeleteNo. The project isn't finished yet, but I'm actually writing the thesis now, which is a bit harder to get motivated for.
Love the dimensional quality of this collage. That path leads you right in and allows your eye to wander. Nice!

It was assembled digitally. I have built these by hand as well, but sadly my cardstock collection is on the other side of the Pacific Ocean, so I've had to do everything digitally for the last couple of years. Happy belated Halloween to you as well.
